Gale BEST BUILD
Gale's most powerful Star Power is undoubtedly Blustery Blow, as it effectively counters tanks. It should be used on closed maps and against aggressive brawlers. As for Gadgets, Twister is by far the best choice, proving extremely useful against both Assassins and Tanks. With this setup, Gale efficiently counters these types of brawlers, making it a must-have build. Regarding gears, opt for the Damage gear to take down tanks more quickly, and consider using the Shield gear as your secondary option, particularly when facing challenging matchups such as snipers.

Gale SECOND BUILD
The Freezing Snow Star Power is quite effective and can be utilized in more open maps or against mid to long-range Brawlers. The slowing effect is particularly beneficial, allowing you to close the distance on opponents who have a longer reach than you. This power becomes even more potent in Ranked mode with the "Quickfire" modifier. Pro players rarely use the Spring Ejector, but it can be useful in specific maps where walls significantly hinder your team's progress. Instead of the Shield gear, you may want to consider using the Vision gear in maps with lots of bushes, as Gale's multi-projectile attacks make it difficult for enemies to stay hidden effectively.
Spring Ejector
Gale drops a bounce pad underfoot, launching friend and foe alike into the air.
Freezing Snow
Gale’s snow balls now also slow down opponents for 0.5 seconds.
Vision
REVEAL opponents for 2 seconds after dealing damage to them

A precise guide for attack, super, hypercharge, gadgets, and star power:
ATTACK
Gale launches six snowballs that form a barrier, each dealing 560 damage to enemies. Although the wall is broad, hitting all the snowballs is uncommon. With precise aiming, this attack can be challenging to evade.
SUPER
Gale conjures an immense barrier composed of wind and snow. Any opponent struck by this wall suffers 1640 HP in damage and is thrust to the edge of the Super's area. This ability solidifies Gale's position as one of the top tank counter picks in the game. It's easy to chain Supers and repel any adversary attempting to charge at you. The Super's expansive width renders it virtually unavoidable.
Blizzard
Upon activation, Gale receives a 26% increase in movement speed, a 15% boost in damage, and a 15% enhancement to his shield. Additionally, Gale's Super generates not just one, but two walls of snow, inflicting double the damage and pushing back enemies twice as far!
Spring Ejector
A pad is placed on the ground and stays operational until Gale deploys another one. Both enemies and allies can utilize it. Whenever anyone steps onto the pad, it pauses for one second before launching everything remaining on it into the air. You can determine the direction in which enemies and allies will be propelled by considering Gale's orientation at the moment the Gadget was deployed.
Twister
Gale summons a minor tornado that lingers in place for several seconds before dissipating. Enemies attempting to traverse the tornado will be repelled. During this repulsion, they cannot be targeted, so beware—enemies may intentionally run into the tornado to avoid your attacks. This Gadget is primarily employed when fending off rushing opponents, but it can also be used to obstruct certain areas of the map.
Blustery Blow
Gale's Super immobilizes enemies for 1.2 seconds, but only if they collide with an obstacle (such as water or a wall) while being pushed. With this Star Power, it's crucial to consistently drive enemies towards walls, as the stunning effect is exceptionally potent. During their stunned state, you can recharge your Super and stun them once more.
Freezing Snow
Gale's primary attack imposes a 0.5-second slowdown on enemies. This Star Power is highly advantageous because hitting an opponent with a longer range allows you to narrow the distance and secure the kill. It's equally effective when escaping, as it lets you impede pursuers. Furthermore, a slowed enemy will find it harder to evade subsequent attacks, enabling you to relentlessly barrage them.
Gale BRAWL STARS PRO TIPS:
Score a goal with your Super
When you're near the enemy goal and opponents are defending, you can fire the ball and simultaneously activate your Super on them. This will force them backward (potentially into their own goal) and prevent them from catching the ball. Just ensure you don't push them directly onto the ball itself.
Get the ball back with your tornado Gadget
If an enemy attempts to score and you lack sufficient ammunition to eliminate them before they do, deploy the Twister gadget. This will launch them into the air, causing them to drop the ball, which you can then retrieve.

Interesting facts about:
- Gale is a member of a gang alongside Mr. P and Lou, and they are situated in the "Snowtel" environment. Snowtel Environment Gale works as a handyman at Mr. P's hotel. His name, Gale, translates to "storm," "tempest," or "wind."
- During Brawl Talk on May 9, 2020, it was mentioned that Gale was supposed to replace a robot a long time ago, as he had already outlived his usefulness. Gale ranks as the second oldest character in the game (with Dynamike being the first, followed by Byron, Belle, and Sam).
- He also stands out as the second character to refer to another fighter, specifically Mr. P, in his dialogue (others include Leon mentioning Nita, Stu mentioning "Colt Crunch," Bonnie mentioning Stu, Janet and Sam referencing Belle, Gus mentioning Spike, and Chester mentioning Mandy).
- Nutcracker Gale Skins and Appearance Gale's weapon features a design that showcases the emblem of Mr. P’s "Snowtel" equipment, particularly leaf blowers. In the loading screen for the "Festive Holidays" season, "Nutcracker Gale" was shown peeking out from the hotel, although he wasn't added to the game until a month later in the following update.
- Gale’s Squeegee Hunter The "Gale’s Squeegee Hunter" skin references the movie "Ghostbusters." This skin is notable for being the first to include another fighter's name in its title (in this case, Squeegee). Additionally, Squeegee with the "Squeegee Ghost" skin appears in the victory and defeat animations associated with this skin. This makes it the only skin in the game that features another skin within its animations.
- Gameplay Gale was excluded from participating in the Power League during the "Tara's Bazaar" season because he was deemed unbalanced at that time. He is one of the fighters whose skin was created through Supercell Make, and he’s also among those whose Star Power has been altered (alongside 8-BIT, Genie, Mr. P, and Bea). Previously, his second Star Power was called "Second Wind," which increased the movement speed of allies hit by Gale's Super. Initially, Gale did not have a special badge, but in the August 2022 update, he received one, similar to Colette.
