Diablo 4 AoZ Builds and Guide (Abattoir of Zir)

Many questions about the Diablo 4 AoZ Builds and Guide (Abattoir of Zir) are emerging among the players. Here is everything covered that you will need to know about.

Diablo 4 Abattoir of Zir

Diablo 4 is an action role-playing dungeon crawling game developed by Blizzard Entertainment on 5th June 2023. It is the fourth installment in the ever-popular Diablo series. It is popular among gamers because the Diablo 4 constantly brings new and exciting features for its players.

One of the most anticipated additions would be the Seasonal event called Abattoir of Zir. Wow, classic Abattoir of Zir Build guides, which include Paragon setups, class mechanics, gear, and affixes. AoZ was revealed during Blizzcon 2023, and it is similar to Greater Rifts from the Diablo 3. However, to enter the dungeon, you will need a special item, Bloodforged Sigil.

Builds and Guide: Diablo 4 AoZ

1.       This AoZ dungeon has 25 tiers, each with a ten-minute timer. These dungeons are generated very randomly they have different monsters and layouts. All of the 25 tiers must be completed one by one as it's not possible to skip any tier even if you possess a higher-level Sigil. The dungeon will have afflictions similar to Nightmare Dungeons, as you will encounter more elite enemies, increased damage, and reduced healing.

2.       These dungeons not only exciting for the players but they also are very hard to complete each tier in them.

3.       It gives the player time of 10 minutes to kill as many enemies as possible to fill the progress bar. Once the bar is filled, players will have to face Bloodseekers, which means facing the boss-like enemies.

These enemies are not easy to kill, but the player has to defeat them before the time runs out. So you can complete the dungeon successfully. (As these boss-like enemies are stronger than the Butcher, and they have multiple abilities that can catch players off guard)

4.       This model has a lot of new features and is exciting. It is the high-risk and high-reward mode. If you don’t run within the given timer, you will lose everything you earned in the run. If you are part of the group, the run will end if one of you dies; you also won’t be able to revive each other.

5.       The AoZ event is not a piece of cake. It might be similar to the Nightmare Dungeons, but it is harder than that. This is designed for people who have already reached Level 100 when they’ve defeated all boss-like enemies and are looking for an ultimate challenge.

6.       As they increase the level of difficulty for players, it also comes with huge rewards like the Tear of Blood. So, if you are thinking of maximizing your build’s power, this is the Glyph you want to farm out because of its incredible damage and its high-scaling Rare Nodes.

The Best Builds for Every Class in Diablo 4: AoZ

Strong builds that can do a lot of damage and contribute unparalleled tackiness are needed for the Abattoir of Zir.

They must be able to single-target down bosses and have strong AOE clarity. Let's think about what we believe will be the best builds for each class in light of this.

Barbarian: HoTA No Ubers in AoZ

This build base will be derived from our well-liked "Gigaclap HoTa" build and refined in every aspect related to AoZ, with exact modifications created especially to address AoZ.

It's a great AoZ starter because it's a very durable tank with insane damage potential and no Uber Unique requirements. Having said that, if you check out the builds In-Depth sections, there will be a section devoted to explaining how to play it and what Ubers, if any, you should use. This season's AoZ construction is to go!

• HoTa No Ubers in AoZ

• Necromancer of AoZ HoTa Ubers: Black River Infinimist

The HotA Barbarian is incredibly durable, but not nearly as much as the Necromancer. This build really excels when it comes to its astounding AOE damage scaling from Black River and its nearly 100% uptime on Blood Mist, which renders it virtually impervious to harm.

Although it won't be as quick to kill as other classes when facing your first boss, its limitations will become clear. However, the benefit of 100% immunity is significant, particularly in AoZ.

Druid

This season, the Druid class doesn't seem to be that popular overall. There are very few Druids runs available.

Nevertheless, given their present power in Season 2, Pulverize Druids ought to be the most successful class. Everything you need to start this build and general tips and tricks are covered in our Pulverize Druid Build Guide.

Since the Subterranean Landslide Druid shares many of Pulverize's toolkits, it should be considered on par with other strong AoE choices. To learn more, see our Subterranean Landslide Druid Build Guide, which is specifically tailored for Critical Strike. Even with its singular focus on Critical Strikes, it remains an incredibly potent option.

Necromancer

Necromancers, favored for their exceptional survivability and potent damage output, naturally shine in challenging content like Zir's Abattoir. The top three Necromancer builds stand out as optimal choices. The Bone Spear build, renowned for its incredible damage, is detailed in our Bone Spear Necromancer Build Guide. Another strong option is the Blood Lance, which offers burst or DPS variations.

Our Blood Lance Necromancer Build Guide provides insights into both approaches. The "Infinimist" build, known for its excellent survivability and clear speed, is a popular choice for the Abattoir of Zir, with a guide in progress. Stay tuned for its release!

Rogue

The Rogue class in Diablo 4 stands out in endgame scenarios with its array of high-damage builds. Flurry, available in Shadow and Poison variations, offers reliable AoE damage with effective Crowd Control. Penetrating Shot takes advantage of the Tibault’s Will bug, delivering potent damage output.

Rapid Fire Rogue emerges as the premier Ranged build, particularly when leveraging Tibault’s Will. Lastly, Twisting Blades represents the pinnacle of Rogue's melee potential, boasting high damage and exceptional clear capabilities. As players explore these diverse builds, customization based on individual preferences and playstyles becomes key for maximizing effectiveness in the Abattoir of Zir and other endgame challenges.

Sorcerer

The Sorcerer class, often criticized for late-game performance, surprisingly excels in clearing the Abattoir of Zir, primarily dominated by the potent Ball Lightning build. Season 2 Vampiric powers amplify its effectiveness, with a dedicated Ball Lightning Build guide in the works.

An alternative option is the Arc Lash build, which, covered in our Sorcerer Build Guide, shares similarities with Ball Lightning Sorcerer, utilizing Unstable Currents. This build incorporates synergies with Vampiric Powers, enabling the Sorcerer to deal damage and cast lightning spells rapidly. Expect updates to this guide as more insights and tips are gathered from the ongoing exploration of the Abattoir of Zir.

How to Unlock AoZ in Diablo 4

Well, to unlock the AoZ in Diablo 4, you will have to complete the entire Seasons of Journey. They all would be simple grind. The last tier, “Destroyer,” could be a little more difficult. Now, most of these challenges are either difficult or are time-gated.

So here are a few 5 easy challenges, and you should do them first. Which you consider will be easier for you. And you can pick the other two. As they can be completed easily, it will be a great help for you to build a foundation to complete the Destroyer and unlock the Abattoir of Zir.

1.       Labor of Love

2.       Avatar of Sanctuary’s Might

3.       Incarnate of Nightmares

4.       Bloodied Head, High

5.       Glyph Master

Requirements for Accessing the AoZ

Not everybody is allowed to enter Zir's Abattoir. Before you can build a Bloodforged Sigil and enter the dungeon, you must fulfill the following requirements:

1.       Get to Level 100.

2.       Finish the Season 2 adventure in all seven of its chapters. This entails completing seven of the nine difficult goals, which include defeating Uber Lilith's Echo of Hatred, obtaining five Level 21 Glyphs, and completing a Tier 90 Nightmare Dungeon.

3.       Create a Sigil of Bloodforged at the Occultist.

How to Access AoZ of Diablo 4

1.       Abattoir of Zir is seasonal and not available on the Eternal Realm.

2.       Completion of the Season Journey for the Season of Blood is required.

3.       It doesn't need to be 100% completed; enough tasks should be done to claim rewards.

4.       Skip PvP or Uber Lilith if not preferred.

5.       Craft a Bloodforged Sigil at any town's Occultist after completing the Season Journey.

6.       Crafting requires Sigil Powder, but well-prepared builds should have an ample supply.

7.       Access the Abattoir from the map, similar to a Nightmare Dungeon, or manually enter the portal in Ked Bardu for optimal preparation before starting the timer.

Rewards of Abattoir of Zir

The Abattoir of Zir rewards players with significant Paragon Glyph Experience and the Unique Tears of Blood Paragon Glyph.

Completing a tier grants the ability to craft a Bloodforged Sigil one tier higher than the completed one. Even at Tier 1, the Abattoir of Zir offers triple the Paragon Glyph Experience of a Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon, starting at a baseline of 1,000 compared to 339.

The Unique Tears of Blood Paragon Glyph scales damage significantly, providing substantial bonuses based on Core Stats allocation and boosting Rare Nodes. It reaches Level 200, requiring increased amounts of Experience. Ensure to level up the main glyphs before investing in Tears of Blood Glyph.

Wrapping Up

An exciting and gratifying event that tests your abilities, equipment and strategic insight is presented by The Abattoir of Zir. The event offers not just Uniques but also chances to earn Legendaries, rare goods, and the powerful new paragon glyph "Tears of Blood."
