Set has three ranks: Raid Finder (502), normal (522), and heroic (535). There are no Thunderforged Tier 15 pieces -- only off-set items. Normal gloves and legs have a chance to drop from Nalak.

Wearing more pieces of this set will convey bonuses to your character:
2 pieces: Increases critical strike chance of Fireball.
4 pieces: Increases the effects of Arcane Charges by 5%, increases the critical strike chance of Pyroblast by 5%, and increases the chance for your Frostbolt to trigger Fingers of Frost by an additional 6%.
Bonuses are the same for each rank. Also each rank set have different colors: Raid finder - brown-blue, Normal - purple, Heroic - red-brown.
